Salman Khan will continue work as usual, says father Salim after firing incident

Noted screenplay writer Salim Khan on Tuesday said that his son and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will continue his work as usual. Slim Khan's remarks came hours after two persons who opened fire outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra were arrested by Mumbai Police. 

While speaking to India Today Consulting Editor Rajdeep Sardesai over the phone, Salim Khan said, "The matter is currently being investigated by the police. We have been given extra protection. Salman Khan will continue his work as before". 

Salim Khan, who met Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde earlier in the day, also said that the state government has assured his family complete protection.
