The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled the rape accused MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar from the party. Earlier, many opposition party leaders had slammed the BJP for not taking action against the suspended Bangarmau MLA who has been jailed since 2018 in relation to the case. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had booked Kuldeep Singh Sengar and 10 others on murder charges in the accident case of 19-year-old Unnao rape survivor. The CJI also slammed the UP govt and asked it to pay immediate compensation to the victim.
