No country would prefer suicide as an option: Jaitley on Rahul Gandhi as the next PM

Arun Jaitley dismissed the BJP's recent electoral losses in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisagarh as an aberration saying that the people would not vote for Congress president Rahul Gandhi in 2019 against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Responding to a question about 2019 Lok Sabha election, Arun Jaitely said, "Election is election but no conscious nation opts for a kind of combination that does not have any ideology, hope for stability, a programme or certainty about the leader. No country jumps in to commit suicide as a preferable option."
