Intolerance debate: Real concern or fear mongering?

A group of 49 celebrities, including the likes of Anurag Kashyap, Aparna Sen and Adoor Gopalakrishnan has written to PM Narendra Modi on the growing cases of lynching.

While filmmaker Aparna Sen, who part of the group who have written an open letter to PM Modi, said that they are not pointing fingers at a particular government or regime. The letter does not point towards the Modi government alone, it is against the general atmosphere of religious intolerance in the country, Sen said.
