In response, the Indian community present at the celebration countered the disruption by chanting "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," drowning out the protesting mob. The incident was described as an attempt by a gang of goons to intimidate the Indian diaspora, with the community being commended for not allowing the situation to escalate into a violent confrontation.
