The Assembly elections in Kerala were held on April 9.
Chandy got 84,031 votes against CPI (M)'s K M Radhakrishnan, who ended up with 31,124 votes, according to Election Commission data.
Chandy's election campaign garnered widespread attention as he followed a green protocol, avoiding flex boards and plastic banners and engaged in a bycycle-based door-to-door campaign.
