The Assembly constituency of Azhikode is situated in the Kannur district of southern Kerala. It is included in the Kannur Lok Sabha constituency for national parliamentary elections. Azhikode, which was founded in 1977, is shown on the state assembly map as Constituency No. 10 and is a general seat. Ranjith of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came in third. Overall, the CPI(M) candidate won by a margin of 6,141 votes, or roughly 4.24% of all votes cast.
